Who we are

SOWACCESS: Société Wallonne d'Acquisition et de Cession d'entreprises (Walloon company for SME's transfer and take over)

SOWACCESS, a subsidiary of SOWALFIN, is dedicated to the SME's transfer and take over through two main aims: facilitating meetings between sellers and buyers; and providing information on and raising awareness of the subject of the sale/purchase of businesses.

The two main aims at SOWACCESS:

  1. SOWACCESS facilitates meetings between sellers and buyers in the Belgium/France/Netherlands region:

    You want to sell your business:
    SOWACCESS offers potential vendors the opportunity to identify, in complete confidentiality, candidates from amongst its affiliated purchasers that are likely to be interested in acquiring their business. Vendors may also, if they wish, place an anonymous advertisement for their business on the SOWACCESS website.

    You want to buy a business:
    SOWACCESS offers potential purchasers an active service in seeking targets in its database, tailored to your search criteria. Purchasers may also, if they wish, place an anonymous business wanted advertisement on the SOWACCESS website.

    You are interested in acquisition opportunities outside Wallonia:
    Thanks to its partnership agreements with the MKBase Group and the CRA, SOWACCESS offers access to businesses for sale in Brussels, Flanders, the Netherlands and in France.

    You are a business consultant or intermediary: SOWACCESS can offer a partnership that will allow those of your clients who are considering whether to sell or purchase a business to benefit, in complete confidentiality, from its service to search for counterparts. You will also be listed on the SOWACCESS website as an approved partner.

  2. SOWACCESS provides information and raises awareness of the sale/purchase of businesses:

    As an entrepreneur considering the sale of your SME, you want to know more about the stages through which one has to go when selling a business, and which consultants can help you. As a business consultant, you may want to give your clients better guidance in the transfer of their business. SOWACCESS attempts to advise you in its Practical Guide to Transfers ("Guide pratique de la transmission").

    As a company director, you may be considering transferring your business in the short to medium term. SOWACCESS can help you in preparing for it using the SME Transfer Diagnostics tool ("Diagnostic Transmission PME").

    SOWACCESS also provides information on events (Entrepreneurs' Forum, etc.) and training courses ("How to buy a business", etc.) relating to the sale/purchase of businesses.
